TRAFFIC JAMS

Traffic problems are a dilemma in Vietnam. According to a report from the Ministry of Transport in 2012, there were 67 serious congestion points in Hanoi, this number in Ho Chi Minh City was 76 points.

Traffic jams have many causes. Firstly, people simultaneously rushed out into the street at a fixed time, called rush hour. Start at 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Second, the government does not widen the road. Maybe due to insufficient budget, road construction is slow.

Third, the increase in population means an increase in traffic. People's income rises, leading to them buying cars a lot. Since then, the air has become increasingly polluted. People who inhale will be susceptible to disease.

To minimise traffic jams, the government should innovate and expand roads. Police in each area need to ban parking on lanes and sidewalks. People have to stretch out different hours. And I think the red lights should be reduced. Waiting for too long makes the road congested. Especially on rainy days, flooded streets, many cars stalled, which is also the cause of traffic jams. It is necessary to rationally organize stops for buses as well as measures to minimize the parking and stopping of cars on roads or at intersections with high traffic density or saturated in possibility.
